Manchester Hackspace is a not-for-profit community workshop, providing a space to get creative, practise your skills and have fun.
There are no shareholders nor investors, and we rely entirely on volunteer effort to stay open and accessible. Our members are the primary source of help, but we are always more than happy to hear from anyone with skills to offer who wishes to support our mission.
Many businesses also support non-profit groups through pro-bono work. We are especially interested in hearing from companies and individuals with expertise in:
- Health and safety
- Fire safety
- Non-domestic electrical and plumbing work
- Business or third-sector strategy
- Machine and workshop maintenance
- Teaching skills and facilitating workshops

Please note, as a volunteer run organisation, we do not have any employment opportunities, and sadly cannot facilitate work experience.
